OFFICIAL INCLEMENT WEATHER STATEMENT: Florida Black Expo and Hurricane Matthew

Official Statement


Out of concern for the safety of all stakeholders including sponsors, staff, exhibitors, and attendees, the management of Florida Black Expo has made the difficult decision to postpone the 15th Annual Florida Black Expo weekend and all events scheduled between October 6 – 8, 2016 due to the unforeseen circumstances related to inclement weather associated with Hurricane Matthew.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope that you may be able to join us on Saturday, December 17, 2016.

To our exhibitors, you will have the option to move your registration to the new Florida Black Expo date or you are welcome to join us in other markets we serve to include Charleston, SC on March 11, 2017 or Columbia, SC on May 20, 2017.

Tickets purchased for Taste of Black Jacksonville and The Florida Black Expo will be honored with the change of date. The new event schedule is as follows:
Taste of Black Jacksonville – TBA, however the event will be held prior to year-end.
15th Annual Florida Black – Saturday, December 17, 2016

Please let us know by October 31, 2016 what course of action you would like to take in participating in the rescheduled events.
